Kids Ranch & Wrangler Daycare

If children are joining your group in Jackson Hole, you will find the programme for them! Located in the Cody House at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Kids’ Ranch offers programmes for children ages 6 months to 17 years.

For children ages 6 months to 2 years old, there is a licenced child-care facility where nurturing staff entertain and care for children with a variety of indoor activities and outdoor snow play.

For children 3 years old and up (5 years and up for snowboarding), we offer optimum opportunities for them to begin or improve their skiing and snowboarding in a fun and nurturing environment.

 

Rough Rider Ski Classes – Ages 3 to 6 years

Specially trained instructors provide children 3 to 6 years of age with the optimum opportunities to begin or improve their skiing abilities.  Children’s rentals are available at JH Sports Jr., located in the Cody House. Full and half day lessons are available. Lessons include lift tickets.

 

Explorer Ski & Snowboard Classes – Ages 7 to14 years

Explore the mountains of Jackson Hole with specially trained expedition leaders. Scout for moose, porcupine, eagles, and other natives of Jackson Hole while learning and improving skiing/riding skills. Full and half day lessons are available.

 

Team Extreme – Ages 12 to 17 years

Class ski and snowboard lessons, but not your average lesson! Team Extreme offers a skiing and snowboarding experience for advanced teen skiers and riders emphasizing the mountain environment. The activities for the day include mountain orientation, versatility, steeps and route finding, and a backcountry tour. This program is only offered on selected weeks during the season.

 

Adult Ski & Snowboard Classes – Ages 15 years and older

Skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities can enjoy Jackson Hole. Our professional staff offer daily group lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers and snowboarders.

 

Vertical Foot Challenge

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort first introduced the Vertical Foot Club over 30 years ago and has over 3000 active members. To participate, pick up a scorecard at the Guest Service Center when you arrive in Teton Village. Enter the vertical feet you ski or snowboard on the scorecard, and win great prizes! Even if you don’t win a prize, feel the glory of all the mileage you ski or snowboard. Please visit the Guest Services Center for more information.

 

Mountain Host Tours

Our Mountain Hosts will take your group on a 2-hour tour of Après Vous and Rendezvous Mountains. The Mountain Orientation Tour familiarises the intermediate or better skier with the various chairlifts and terrain suited to their skiing ability. We recommend taking this tour the first day your group hits the hill. Reservations are required. Mountain Orientation Tours leave from the base of the ski area at 9:30 am daily.
