About Whistler Creekside

Whistler Creekside used to be the original base area of Whistler before Intrawest bought the resort and moved it up the road to its present location. Over the last 10 years a multi-million dollar refurbishment project has turned Creekside into a great alternative to Whistler Village. It has all the amenities you'll need (including its own gondola) and is a great choice for families or skiers looking for a mellower Whistler experience.

One of the key attractions of Creekside is value for money – the accommodation cost is substantially lower than that of a similar standard in the Whistler or Blackcomb base areas. The accommodation is all of a high standard with excellent facilities, and there's a property to suit every party size and taste. This, combined with the convenient ski in ski out access, makes it a great choice.

If you need to get to or from Whistler Village from Creekside it is only a short 5 minute drive. The Whistler Wave local transit system offers shuttles to and from the village every 15 minutes in winter. Taxis are readily available at a cost of approximately $8 CDN (£4.00) each way.
