Deer Lodge

Expert Opinion

"Once the original village of Lake Louise the Deer Lodge has been lovingly cared for and added to over the years. It makes a great place for a quiet get away from it all in a relaxed and informal environment."

The Deer Lodge dates back to 1921 and has a lovely fieldstone fireplace and many antiques. It is an atmospheric property and an affordable alternative to staying at the Chateau. The rooms are a mixture of older Lodge rooms, refurbished Tower rooms and modern Heritage rooms, most don't have a telephone, and none have a television. Lake Louise is a few minutes walk and the shuttle stops outside.
