Skiing holidays to
Mont-Sainte-Anne Canada

Expert Opinion

"M-S-A is the biggest of the Quebec City ski areas - you have the choice to either base yourself in Quebec city or stay in the resort itself. From either you can do day trips to the other areas. Lots to do and lots of fun!"

Québec City is one of Canada’s most culturally vibrant cities and a winter lover’s paradise. The area has the excitement and sophistication of North America’s oldest city mixed with the thrill and challenges of the best skiing east of the Rockies.

Three great mountain resorts: Mont-Sainte-Anne, Stoneham Mountain Resort and Le Massif located within 1 ½ hours of the Québec capital, are blessed with over 260 inches of natural snow each year, a combined vertical drop of over 6,000 feet, a mountain playground of some 4,500 acres, and an impressive total of 139 ski and snowboard trails for all levels.

Mont-Sainte-Anne is the largest of the 3 resorts with some of the best ski terrain in the east, and is located an easy 40 minute drive from Québec City. Pistes cover 3 sides of the mountain and all runs have attractive views over the surrounding wooded hills and the St Lawrence River. Whilst advanced skiers attempt to digest the recently-opened famous Black Forest run, families are equally well catered for in the popular Family Zone.

The resort has the largest network of cross-country ski trails in Canada and one of the country’s most well-reputed ski schools for beginners and improvers as well as night skiing available until 10 pm every night. Other activities available on-site include dogsledding snowmobiling and snowshoeing.

There is a small but lively and well-equipped resort base so if you fancy a night or two outside of Québec City, this is the best place to stay.
