Skiing holidays to
Flims Laax Switzerland

Expert Opinion

"If you board rather than ski – this is the resort for you. It has masses of terrain and boarding parks. For intermediate skiers too it’s great – the ski area is surprisingly massive so you won’t get bored here."

Tips & Advice Info

  • For the best steak on the slopes, visit the La Vacca teepee. They have a good selection of fine fillets which they cook to your request. This place is a meat eaters paradise but not so great for vegetarians.

  • For your first apres tipple, if you are staying in Flims go straight to The Iglu near the base station. If you are staying in Laax there are several apres bars hidden amongst the trees on the descent run to Laax. Just follow the music to track them down.

  • For apres ski dining, try Tegia Larnags in Laax, La Cena in the Parkhotel Waldhaus, or the less formal Pizzeria Veneziana in Flims.

  • The Crap Bar (named after the mountain not the service) and the bar in the Riders' Palace hotel are very lively apres ski spots in Laax. In Flims, head for the Hotel Arena bar and nightclub.

  • The Parkhotel Waldhaus in Flims has an excellent spa if you fancy easing the muscles one afternoon.
