Skiing holidays to
Saas Fee Switzerland

Expert Opinion

"Opening the curtains to spectacular glacier and mountain views is surely the way to start every morning. Saas Fee's skiing is guaranteed - it's high, snow sure and with all year glacier skiing."

Known as the "Pearl of the Alps", Saas Fee in canton Wallis is nestled in the Saastal surrounded by several glistening peaks over 4000 metres, glacial scenery and panoramic alpine views. Saas Fee is the largest village in the Saastal. The ski areas of Saas-Fee, Saas-Grund, Saas-Almagell and Saas-Balen are all included in one ski pass.  Saas Fee is in fact open all year round for skiing and boarding on the Allalin glacier.

Saas Fee is a car free zone (electronic vehicles are permitted to drive through the village). If you drive to the resort, you can park your car in the car park at the entrance to the village and your hotel will then pick you up.

Saas Fee is a perfectly charming village. As you arrive, the main street is lined with timber farm chalets, inviting hotels and cosy bars. The village is alive and buzzing all year round, thanks to the glacier summer skiing.
