Expert Opinion

"The resorts of Eastern Switzerland each have their own individual style, character and landscape. What better way to experience such variety than to hire a car (or buy a train pass) and head out for a Swiss alpine ski adventure."

A multi-resort Ski Safari is a great way to experience the variety of terrain our Swiss resorts offer, their different atmospheres and the impressive alpine scenery as you travel between them. You can either do a self-drive Ski Safari or sit back and relax, by using the super-efficient Swiss train service to travel between resorts.

Here’s an example of a self drive Swiss Ski Safari combining skiing over 6 mountains in two renowned resorts:

Day 1 – Fly out from London to Zurich and pick up your 4x4 from the airport. Drive to Davos (2 hours)

Day 2 – Ski Parsenn mountain in Davos and down to Klosters

Day 3 – Ski Jakobshorn in Davos

Day 4 – Take the Vereina Tunnel car transporter to the Engadin valley and drive to St Moritz (1½ hours). Or, weather permitting, drive over the stunning Julierpass to St Moritz. Ski Corviglia on St Moritz.

Day 5 - Ski Corvatsch, St Moritz

Day 6 – Ski Diavollezza glacier run and Lagalb

Day 7 – Drive back to Zurich airport (3½ hours) and catch a return flight back to London

We are able to tailor-make any itinerary involving our resorts, with any number of nights in each resort. Here are some other ideas:

Minimal Driving Safari:    Flims/ Klosters

Scenic Safari:    Engelberg/ Davos

Best of East Switzerland:    Flims/ Davos/ St Moritz
