"Just got back from Killington after 10 days with my 2 daughters. The new owners have raised prices on passes and lessons but the quality has improved too. Kids lessons are now restricted to a minimum of five and my kids often had groups as low as two. Great conditions and fab pool at the Killington Grand. Family friendly and fun."

"Great service from both James and Matt, let them decide our itinary and it couldn't have been better, 4 nights Killington to start then 4 nights in Stowe, great ski-ing, hotels spot on, all as we were advised, and everything ran like clockwork, Matt even sorted out the collapse of the car hire agent and re-booked us with another agent at real short notice."

"We have just returned from learning to ski and board in Killington, where we had a super time! And have come back hooked! My only advise is to go out of typical holiday season, a two hour wait for food after a hard day on the slopes is not much fun....Great lessons and superb choice of trails and slopes. Thanks James!

"I visited Killington in April 2005 with my school as a school trip. Me and my friends had so much fun skiing and lounging about in the cafe. Great place for beginners as we all were and the instructors are really great with us!!

"We chose Killington for several reasons, mainly that it is large enough to have everything in one location. There is childcare from babies up (my 16mth old loved it) and my eldest (7yrs) had all day ski lessons and enjoyed it tremendously, and my wife got on skis for the first time.
The staff are great with kids and adults and the resort is big enough for easy green runs right up to steep blacks.
It doesn't get the powder of Utah, but the snow-blowers mean there is always plenty of trails open. They have large moguls, freestyle areas, tree skiing, pipes and godd old trails.
If you want a quiet break, make sure you don't catch one of the US holidays such as Martin Luther King day or Presidents day when New York seems to land and it gets busy (but never quite as bad as some of the Alpine resorts I used) but you can have it quiet or loud depending on what you want to do.

"I visited here earlier this year with 17 family members from children to pensioners and we all had a great time.
The only real complaint was at the Killington ski resort itself in one of the restaurants the service was very slow and the staff tired in their approach infact we overhead one member of staff say that because we hadn't tipped enough the day before this was why we were kept waiting! - it took over 45 minutes to get a drink order placed so i don't think the reduced tip was mis-placed, however, in the case it was a
miscalculation on our part not a deliberate error!
