"Stowe is a really nice resort with typical New England style buildings, a bit like stepping back in time to a more pleasant era. Ski-ing suits all abilities with gentle rolling hills on Spruce Mountain and across the road steep double diamonds on Mansfield. There are also a number of other good resorts within a hours drive such as Jay Peak. Loads of good restaurants, Blue Moon cafe worth a visit, limited night life so early to bed for more ski-ing. The shops are aimed at tourists, selling a variety of arts and crafts Amercian style."

"Fantastic improvements to the base area. Love the new village. Just the right size and even though it is new it still feels authentic. Best skiing in the east! "

"What a lovely, quaint resort! Even though there was hardly any snow (they made it up on the runs) we had a great time. We hired a car and drove to Burlington, some lovely shops, skiing for all abilities up on the mountains from beginner to advanced. Great little places to eat and very easy to get around. A great holiday! "
