Whistler Golf

In the summer Whistler's home to some of the finest signature golf courses in the world. With four championship designer golf courses right in Whistler, Whistler is Canada's Number One Golf Destination (as rated by Golf Digest). After a day of golfing on the links, unwind with luxury accommodations and discover the shops, dining and exciting nightlife of Whistler Village.

Ziptrek Ecotours Inc. - Ziplining

Ziptrek Ecotours has thrilled hundreds of thousands of visitors year round and in all weather. The tour area boasts 7 suspension bridges, 2 rigid aerial bridges, 10 treetop viewing platforms and a total of 10 ziplines divided between 2 tours. Experience the exhilaration of stepping off a platform, sailing 2300’ through air, dropping over 20 stories from start to finish on one of the world’s longest tree to tree ziplines, while reaching speeds of up to 80 km/hr (up to 60mph)!

Ziptrek Ecotours combines the thrill of adventure with an educational component that allows visitors to learn about mountain ecology and sustainability while encouraging participants to do their part for the environment.

From Ziptrek's base in Whistler Village, the tour lasts approx 2.5-3 hours. It is fun, safe and perfect for all ages (minimum age 6 yrs).

Restrictions:
- Guests must be a minimum of 65 pounds (30 kilos) and a maximum of 275 pounds (125 kilos).
- Guests under the minimum weight can zip tandem on the Bear Tour with a professional Ziptrek guide only.
- Youths must be accompained by an adult.

Note:
Due to seasonality, daylight hours and a variety of other factors, Ziptrek's tour schedule is flexible. Ziptrek will provide the confirmed time of the tour booked with confirmation number.


Bear and Wildlife Viewing

Rising above Whistler Village are the vast coastal hemlock-cedar forests of the Whistler Blackcomb ski area. These forests interspersed with ski trails provide diverse food and shelter for some 50 black bears. Experience the pristine views of wildlife, glacial peaks and memorable sunsets in a 4x4 vehicle. Travel through deep old growth coastal hemlock-cedar forests, visit active bear dens, daybeds and feeding sites. Witness evening play between a mother and her cubs.


Mountain Ecology Tours - Bear and Wildlife Viewing 
 
Experience the wildlife, vegetation, glaciers and rainforests of Whistler Blackcomb Mountains. View wildlife on ski trails as you learn how conservation and enhancement initiatives help to sustain healthy populations. Visit a bear den. Wander through pristine alpine meadows and old growth western hemlock forests. View one of the most spectacular alpine settings in the world at sunset. Learn how mountain resorts are redesigning recreational experiences for a sustainable future. Please dress in layers and wear sturdy footwear. Bring insect repellent and your camera. Binoculars provided.

Wakeboarding
 
Green Lake Watersports is a fully certified BCWSA & Water-Ski Canada insured school offering wakeboarding, wakeskate & wakesurf sessions to all levels of age and ability.

Our boat  is the new 2005 Malibu "VLX Wakesetter" which offers multiple wake levels, so whether you're a beginner or expert on a wakeboard, wakeskate or wakesurf, you'll be able to find a suitable wake. On board we have the latest 2007 Hyperlite boards (skate and surfboard), and BARE dry-suits ranging in size from XXS to XL.

Whistler Bungee

BC's highest and most pristine year round bungee jumping site, located 15 min South of Whistler, off HWY 99. Experience bungee jumping in the beautiful wilderness of the Whistler Resort Valley nestled between old growth forests and rugged basalt column cliffs.  Whistler Bungee provides a 160 ft. heart pounding drop.
