Responsible Tourism - Stowe

Ski Safari asked Stowe resort management how they limit the resort's environmental impact (e.g. usage of renewable energy sources, waste management and recycling programmes etc?)....

We recycle plastics, metals, glass, paper and petroleum products.  Our entire business is focused on minimizing environmental impacts.  We have won the National Ski Areas Association prestigious Golden Eagle Award for environmental excellence; last year, we were awarded second place.

Ski Safari asked Stowe whether they promote sustainable tourism (e.g. sourcing local food products and supporting local suppliers)...

Our hospitality department uses local growers when  possible.
